YUMMY MUMMY FOOD!

Fresh Norwegian salmon served with some steamed greens, roasted baby potatoes and a home-made lemon butter sauce.

If you are ever venturing along Kloof Street, in Cape Town (South Africa), please do yourself a favour and pop into a restaurant called 'Manna'. I promise you, it will be worth your while.

I hope that all the fathers had the most amazing Father's Day yesterday. Fathers are hard to come by, good fathers are scarce and great fathers are a blessing.
Men have a different way of expressing themselves to the people that they love and one of the most difficult forms of this expression is evident in fatherhood. Many of us complain that we do not receive enough attention from our fathers, that our fathers are cold and their feelings are sometimes unwarranted; that our fathers do not understand us as our mothers do.

Sometimes, we forget to understand the pressure that comes with being a man in this world. To provide for your loved ones is a task that only few have accomplished and without such accomplishments, the others are seen as failures. We need to dedicate our time to appreciating our providers, more, for without them, we would not be able to reproduce. Women may be the bearers of human beings, but men are the providers that fertilise this conception.

TO ALL OF OUR CURRENT, FUTURE AND POTENTIAL FATHERS:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRESENCE ON THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET EARTH. WE LOVE YOU, YOUR APPENDAGES AND THE STRENGTH AND PROTECTION THAT YOU GIVE TO US, DAILY.
EVEN WITHOUT MEN, WOMEN WOULD STILL RULE, BUT OUR REIGN WOULD BE A LITTLE LESS FULFILLING AND FAR LESS EXCITING!

Best,
Khaleesi x
