NO BRA WITH THAT BLOUSE,
THAT'S
SO UNNECESSARY!

Today I would like to give thanks to one of my favourite soul-sisters. Blossom Mayer. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR THE 1ST :) She is one of the main reasons that I keep on going in life and one of the biggest inspirations known to mankind. I recently went to Greece, to meet this childhood friend of 19 years! I had not seen her in two years and it is thanks to her that I had the most amazing, life-changing experience to date. Blossom is one of those people who assure you that everything is a-okay and she keeps my soul thriving. In the words of our third Muskateer, Jamie du. Plooy, taken from a speech that they wrote for me 'We will be friends forever, in this life and the next... We will always be the three muskateers'.

Thanks my Veegie.. YOU ROCK MY DANCING SOCKS!
These were taken on the island of Paros, Greece.

One of the traditional Greek foods is called a Souvlaki. This is the most delicious wrap, I have ever tasted and when you visit the country, do better for yourself and have one almost everyday, as we did. They are cheap, tasty and oh so addictive. One thing though, carry some breath mints with you, whenever you decide to have one, because the Tzatziki, Red onion combo is quite something.

Some people freak out at the idea of having to smooch their partners after eating one of these, I say, He loves me... He loves me not!

The options that are available in Gyro land are chicken and pork. As you may have seen in a regular wrap-serving cafe, the chicken and pork (gyros) are slow roasted on a spit. The pita bread comes toasted and is filled with fries, tzatziki, red onion, sliced tomato and some lettuce. This delectable dish is finished off by adding either chicken or pork gyros. Due to the fact that we like to live it up a little, we opted for a mixed option and were gladly granted such.
Once you have a souvlaki, you will never want to eat any other kind of wrap again.

Paros served us the best souvlakis ever. We tried many a time to find the right make and we were lucky enough to come across Giorgos (as is the name of most Greek men), who even gave us a free glass of wine to wash it down with... When money is tight!

I hope that today brings about a new cycle in your energy's light.
